If this is the first time you are seeing a Chiropractor then it can be quite overwhelming trying to figure out where to go, who to see, and what to look out for. In today’s day and age, everyone has seen a video or two of a Chiropractor adjusting on their social media platforms, but not everyone understands what is happening. Don’t worry, we’re here to help! Our goal from this blog is to help you understand when it would be beneficial to schedule a visit with our Chiropractor and to answer the question ‘how I know if I need a chiropractor or not.’

Before you go out and start looking for a Chiropractor there are a couple questions you need to ask yourself.

  • Do you know what a Chiropractor does?
  • Is your concern something that a Chiropractor can help treat? Use the link to familiarize yourself first with what a Chiropractor does. You can make an informed decision when you understand the process better. Also, you can find some of the most common conditions there and some of the tools the Chiropractic doctor will be using for your treatments.

A lot of times diagnosis’ and conditions are big names that you might not understand you have, or what they mean. So there are some questions we have added below to help you make the decision. If you answer yes to any of them, a visit to our Chiropractor will help!

  • Do you experience neck pain, headaches, mid-back pain or low back pain?
  • Are you experiencing pain or limited range of motion while running, working out at the gym, or with sports/recreational activities?
  • Have you been diagnosed with nerve entrapments, disc problems, or feel numbness and tingling in your body/limbs?
  • Have you been recently or previously injured and have increased inflammation and pain you are still dealing with?
  • Have you been in a car accident or work injury which has made your previously simple day to day tasks now difficult?
  • Are you uncertain of what vitamins and supplements you should be taking and why?
  • Do you want to be able to move and feel better with your flexibility and mobility?
  • Do you want to strengthen your muscles and joints in order to avoid injury, decrease pain or prepare for a surgery?

Going through this self questionnaire will make it much easier for you to understand if scheduling a visit can be beneficial for you.
