What is a Chiropractor?

A Chiropractor is a neuro-musculo-skeletal (NMSK) expert. Chiropractors treat conditions related to nerves/discs, bones/joints and muscles/tendons/ligaments. Dr. Warring, our Calgary based Chiropractor, is also an expert on nutrition/supplementation and rehabilitation exercises. The term chiropractor by definition means a practitioner who uses their hands to treat patients. In this way a chiropractor uses various techniques with his hands and other tools to help relieve your pain. A Chiropractic doctor does not only treat the spine, but is an NMSK expert of the entire body. Thus, they can treat symptoms of the feet, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, TMJ and more.

Chiropractic care addresses the root causes of pain and discomfort, rather than just the symptoms. By aligning the spine and improving joint mobility, chiropractic treatments can reduce pain, increase range of motion, and improve overall well-being.

At Vitality Clinic, our Chiropractor is a neuromusculoskeletal expert who uses various assessment screens to figure out what is causing your problem, pain, lack of mobility, or weakness. This means they will deal with your body as a whole and look at all possible things that might be affecting you and how they can work together with you to fix those things. A Chiropractor looks at the neuro-musculo-skeletal system, but also your nutrition, environmental factors and activity levels to help gauge the extent of the problem.
